I'm the first to say that I am one power nerd. I just spent a few weeks poring through Diana Glick and Tanya Lieberman's Spanish for Breastfeeding Support, which is a fantastic workbook/course to teach you how to communicate all-things-breastfeeding with Spanish-speaking moms. It is primarily intended for lactation consultants, breastfeeding peer counselors, nurses, physicians, midwives and childbirth educators, but anyone would benefit from this book.

            - Melissa Nagin, IBCLC, About.com book review

Whether you speak a little Spanish or none at all, the written and audio exercises in this guide will get you up to speed to support Spanish-speaking breastfeeding mothers. In addition to the comprehensive instruction in the Spanish language, this book provides a solid base of current and accurate breastfeeding advice. It demonstrates how to offer both informational and emotional support. It works as a self-guided course or as a textbook in a classroom setting. Spanish for Breastfeeding Support is a gorgeous book and an excellent reference guide!

           - Angela White, LLL leader, Breastfeeding 1-2-3 book review

If you work with breastfeeding mothers who speak Spanish and need to brush up on your language skills, this book is an invaluable resource. I can't recommend it highly enough -- except to tell you that usually I give away review copies, and this one is staying right here on my bookshelf.
