Chapter 1:  Extra practice

Exercise 1.  Addition and subtraction with numbers 1-31.  Write out the equations, according to the example below.

Exercise 2.  The definite article, or “the” in Spanish.  Remember that “the” is used more frequently in Spanish than in English and must agree in number and gender with the person or thing described.  Fill in the blanks in the following paragraph with the definite article: el, la, los or las.
